I don't know what's going on here, but my site is DOWN. I contacted the people who did my site and they said that unless my host kept a copy of all that I had written down, it is all GONE GONE GONE and I will have to write from scratch. EEks...please pray for the other...
Anyway, I'll get everything up as soon as I get a chance.

ACK - Email's down...
Anyone who's trying to contact me, I just need to let you know that I am not ignoring you...okay, not MOST of you ;). Just teasing! Anyway, I can't access any of my emails right now and my patient and out-of-school-so-now-I-have-time-to-help-you-with-the-business-hubby has been working on it for literally hours and he is tired. Anywho...we're off to bed.
Oh yeah - check back on the blog by Monday. I'll have some FAB photos to show you - you'll be surprised. Stay tuned...

Two Posts in ONE DAY???
What's wrong with me??? Well, I've caught the love-bug :).
Sometimes, I'm so busy photographing other people that I forget to take shots of my own family. So, I took some time to photograph my boy, Julius. This is one of my favorites and let me tell you why. Normally, I don't like to have my subjects in the center of my viewfinder. However, it works here because of the door. I love door handle at the side. It totally adds charactr to the photo. In 20 years, I am going to be able to tell you EXACTLY where the photo was taken, because of that door handle and the stuff in the background. I also love that none of his limbs are "chopped" in the camera. I love the feel of the black and white. It gives this "in-home" photo a classic touch.
And...of course...I love the subject. That is what REALLY makes or breaks a photo...

Extreme Makeover Home Edition
Did anyone volunteer for the "EMHE" in Middleton? Well, Lumuli and I did last Sunday and it was very interesting! There were quite a few people standing around, not sure what to do (like us :) ), but there were others who were busy working on the home. I've always loved "EMHE", so I was SUPER excited to volunteer. We got a really cool T-shirt from it...I'll photograph and post that later.
The big reveal was on Wednesday and Lumuli, Julius and I waited outside in terrible heat for two hours only to be told that they were no longer taking any more passengers for the reveal. :(. It was quite the bummer.
I took a few snaps. Nothing to AWE about, but still fun to see and remember, none the less. The long lines of people....yep, you guessed it. Those were the lines we had to wait in....it was CRAZY!
Just go ahead and TRY to tell me that I don't have the most beautiful family in the world :).

Did you see Channel 7 news tonight?
I volunteer with a FABULOUS charity called, "Heart Gallery of Idaho". They also air "Wednesday's Child". This charity finds adoptive family for children who really need them!!! They work hard to make sure the family/child are a perfect fit.
I have a special place in my heart for adoption, so I was honored when I was asked to photograph for them last week. During our session, Channel 7 news came and did their thing and turns out I was on tonight :) (call me vain, but I love being on TV...okay, so it was just my back...and my camera, but still). Unfortunately, I don't have a photograph of promising, respectful, handsome young Matt on my BLOG, but please visit "Wednesday's Child" by clicking on the Title above to see this wonderful young man.
Oh yeah, and spread the word about Matt as well as this organization. You may be the very parent that Matt, or any of these other deserving children need.
Here's Channel 7's clip on Matthew - http://www.idahowednesdayschild.org/multimedia/Matthew4.mpg

This is Dacen. Isn't he a handsome young man? He is very kind and respectful! What a joy to photograph :). He has a lot of interests - including, but not limited to :) - LaCross, Asian Culture, Japanese, and Art. He is headed off to Korea in a couple of weeks. What a great experience!!! We had great fun finding cool, new places to photograph him in! Enjoy your Sneak-Peek!!!

Meet Richelle - my 2008 Senior REP for Meridian High School
What a delightful young lady! She is a cheerleader at Meridian High School with a fantastic life ahead of her. She is so beautiful and yet so humble! We had so much fun traipsing around downtown Boise on Friday morning. Our final destination was The Boise Depot - one of my favorite locations to photograph! Enjoy your Sneak Peek!

Frisby Sneak-Peek
What a lovely couple! They are pregnant with their second child. They already have a sweet boy named Walker (isn't that a cute name?). He is full of energy and wasn't quite sure what to think of this whole "camera-thing". We had a lot of fun and got some GORGEOUS shots :). I can't wait for you to see them, Susie and Wayne! Enjoy your sneak peak!

Cinder Sneak-Peek
Watch out for these guys!!! They are a wine-making couple who are going to have some great tasting wine for purchase in the future...
What a cool experience to see these two in the vineyards. I thoroughly enjoyed this outing to SouthWest Nampa, where I was able to experience some of the most beautiful scenery I've scene (okay, pun intended...I'm a dork). These guys really know what they're doing when it comes to their wine. Cinder is the name of their business and I think their wine is going to be in HIGH demand. If you are interested, email me and when their site goes live, I'll shoot you a link.
