CONTEST - Guess who is who :)

***READ THROUGH THIS ENTIRE POST - CONTEST POSTED BELOW***

Merry, Merry Christmas, Everyone!

We had such a fun Christmas! This was Julius' first Christmas where he wasn't completely oblivious - okay, maybe he's still a little oblivious, but he had fun unwrapping the presents.

As a professional photographer, I never want to forget to take "just snaps". Sometimes, I will even only bring along my point and shoot camera to simply be able to enjoy the moment (doesn't happen very often, but it happens). Sometimes, my very favorite photographs are ones that are just "snapped". I love my family and I am so glad I get to "capture" these memories for us to share and laugh at in years to come.

NOW HERE'S THE CONTEST -

WHAT is the Contest? - guess who is my my sister, brother, mom, son, husband, niece and nephew in the photographs you see below.

WHO is the winner? - All the people who answer correctly will have their name entered into a drawing. The person whose name I draw will win!

HOW do I submit my entry? - Email me with Subject LIne "Who is Who". Submit your guesses with the number of each photo.

WHAT is the Prize? - $5 Gift Card to Starbucks!!!

HINT - most of these relatives can be found on my blog SOMEWHERE...enjoy and I hope you win!

Merry Christmas, Everyone!!!

I hope everyone has a beautiful Christmas. Celebrate Jesus' birth with me, will you?

Isaiah 9:6

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Merry Christmas, Everyone!

Jamie's Bridal Session Sneak-Peek!

For you Brides who have been contemplating a "Bridal" session, DO IT! I was able to hang out with Jamie on Monday - just her in her wedding dress, all decked out in her birdcage veil. We had such a blast traipsing around down-town! Bridal sessions are great because they are done at least one month BEFORE the wedding. There is no time-crunch, no stress, no nothin' but you and the camera (and me, I guess :) ). If you have been thinking about it, you need to do it!

Anyway, Jamie. I know you've been checking the BLOG religiously, so here ya go, Love! Enjoy your Sneak-Peek!

Sneak-Peek for Ryan & Claire!

Oh my! The moment this girl walked in for her consultation, I knew I would love her! Cute, fun, hip, sweet - such a doll :). I discovered during the consultation that she had actually gone to Kenya this summer, so my "Karibu" (meaning welcome in Swahili) sign was recognized, giving her instant brownie points! Anyway, she and her fiance, Ryan got married this Friday. It was such beautifully, well-planned wedding. Every detail was thought of by Claire, her sister Stephanie and Mom. I advised them to go into business...they did an AMAZING job!!!!

It was an absolute joy to witness you uniting as one, Ryan and Claire. What a beautiful union! May God continue to bless you as you journey through life together. Lots of love :).

Chad & Lea-Bee

My good friend and prior roommate (up until Lumuli and I got married) Leah came to visit with her boyfriend, Chad. She is currently attending Seminary in Texas and has been applying to Osteopathic Schools around the area. So, naturally, I was super excited when she said she was coming up to visit during the Thanksgiving Holiday. I did a quick mini-shoot for them as they smooched :). It was great fun! Anyway, love you, LeaBee! I'll see you in a couple of weeks :).

Miss K's Sneak-Peek!

I had the amazing privilege of meeting Vickie; she is a wonderful woman with so much insight and such a joy for life! She is incredibly gifted in home decor and entertaining. She had the sweetest little dog, Asia! She wanted to get some portraits of her and her dog done for Christmas. I came to her home and had a blast!!! She is such a beautiful woman inside and out and I am very fortunate to have met her!

I know you've already seen these, Vickie, but I wanted to get them up! Enjoy your Sneak-Peek!!!

I Will Catch Up...I Will Catch Up...

I feel just awful. I have been sooo behind on Sneak-Peeks, it's not even funny. As a matter of fact, the clients of the Sneak-Peeks I am going to be putting up within the next week or so have all seen their photographs. Most have even ORDERED them!!! Shame on me!!! Anyway, I am going to make a gigantic effort to have all of my Sneak-Peeks caught up by the end of December. We'll see if that really happens.

Back to our normally scheduled program...

Whew!!!

Boy! I am tired...I am feeling like a chicken with my head cut-off. I have been busy! It's been good, but I am certainly looking for a nice break - which is a great segue into my next topic!

I am on a break :). I will be on Thanksgiving Holiday until Monday, November 26th. If you are trying to reach me, now you know why!

I am so thankful for a husband who loves Jesus, a baby boy who is healthy, and a job that I love. What are you thankful for?

Happy, Happy, Happy Thanksgiving. I must leave this post with one of my favorite songs taken off of a Greeting Card. Just click on "Happy Thanksgiving" below and it will take you directly there. Don't bust a gut.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Atalla Sneak-Peek!

What a delightful little family :). I had fun photographing this family - with three kiddos three and under, it was challenging, but I am so excited about the outcome.

Thank you, Atallas, for letting me capture this time in your lives - with your newest little one. What a blessing it is!!! Enjoy your Sneak-Peek.

Miss B's Sneak-Peek!

What a beautiful and sweet, sweet family! The purpose of this session was to take Miss B's Senior Portraits, but we decided to throw in a couple of family portraits as well. With a wonderful family like this, how could I go wrong?

Miss B is quite the fashionista! She has style and pulls it off well!!! We had a lot of fun shooting her session, but the highlight was when I heard the whistle of the train blowing after she got in her sweet red dress! What a blast :).

Thanks for letting me photograph your Senior Portraits! Enjoy your Sneak-Peek!
