Steen & Anne's Wedding Sneak-Peek!

Boy - have I been itchin' for a wedding :). Steen and Anne's wedding Saturday kicked off my busy wedding season.

I had an engagement session with this VERY in-love couple in October last year. It was so great to be around these two. They are so passionate for one another. Just beautiful! So - needless to say, I was honored to shoot their wedding this Spring.

Their wedding consisted of a gorgeous pallette of red and brown. The vibrancy of the Gerbera daisy's and the classic look of the men's tuxedoes complimented the bride's beautifully beaded gown.

We began our journey at Katheryn Albertson's Park in 98 degree weather where Steen saw Anne for the first time that day. You could tell from his entrancement, that she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. You could tell from the way she fell into his arms, that he was the man she'd been waiting to marry for a long time.

The wedding ceremony was held at the Cathedral of the Rockies - a beautifully designed church. Both Steen and Anne's childhood pastors married them. All the support around them filled the church with warmth. The most heartwarming, however, had to have been when I saw Steen escort Anne down the aisle to marry him.

The reception was held at the CW Moore building and included fine catering by Big Sky Catering and DJing by Sapphire Productions. The Cake - oh my gosh - the CAKE!!! Another Greg Marsh Masterpiece. I've gotta give a shout-out to my girls at Bliss. Such a fabulous group and crazy-talented at planning and making your event GORGEOUS!!!

A big thanks to Randi Davies for assisting me!

Thanks, Steen and Anne, for letting me be a part of your day. It was wonderful to be able to share that with you...consider yourselves loved.

Meet Brenna - Timberline High's Senior Spokesmodel

Brenna and I had fun with Cat (see previous post) on Thursday. Brenna is a choir girl who will be going on tour this weekend...I am so jealous :D. She brought her friend Stephanie and Mom with her to her shoot. I put them to work as awesome reflector-holders :). We discovered some rad (again, I'm dating myself by saying "rad") places. Check out her vibrant hair. Isn't it GORGEOUS??? Wowzo!!! So fun to photograph such beautiful coloring :).

Thanks, Brenna, for hanging out with me on Thursday. Thanks for helping me "break the rules"...

Meet Cat - Eagle High's Senior Spokesmodel

What a blast Catherine and I had on Thursday. Catherine is such a doll - she is an actress & singer - full of drama!!! A girl after my own heart :). I wanted something different than what I usually do (well, not that much of what I do is usual :) ), so we headed out to a very cool location. We had a lot of different places to shoot here. It was full of fun surprises!!!

Catherine, thanks for hanging out with me on Thursday and helping me "break the rules". Enjoy your Sneak-Peek!

Sneak-Peek for "D" from Mountain Home

I had so much fun with this handsome guy from Mountain Home. His dad is stationed out there *I humbly thank you for serving to protect our freedom, "K"* and all three family members work at the base. Mom is a total crack-up and she and hubby are so completely in love... I had a great time giving them "jobs" while "D" and I were on our shoot. Anyway, "D" is such a sweetheart!!! And so good-looking, to boot! He was up for anything and actually enjoyed getting his photographs taken :).

Thanks, "M" family, for letting me share this time with you. I love seeing beautiful children who have beautiful parents and who are going to be beautiful contributors to our society. Thanks, "D", for helping me "break the rules".

Sneak Peek for "R" Family

For you blogstalkers who don't know, I am a part-time Music Teacher at a fantastic school with a fantastic staff. One of the preschool teachers is this new mama, Seana. I was so excited that I got to photograph their beautiful baby girl. She is only a precious 10 days old here and was a perfect little angel for me (read: slept the entire time and let me fold her any way I wanted :) ).

Lee and Seana, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your family's first few days. I feel so privileged!!! She is absolutely beautiful and I know the two of you will make absolutely incredible parents. Consider yourselves loved :).
