This beauty was a trooper. Remember that snow we had last Saturday??? Well, we were in it :). Okay - you Chicagoans and New Yorkers may not call it "snow", but it is the middle of April, for Heaven's Sake!!! It should be sunny and fine outside!!! Anyway, we braved it - and I'm glad we did. This gal has so much going for her - she plays Rugby at Borah, she is signed on with a modeling agency, she is super sweet, and just an all-around great girl!
I had a blast with you, Miss "M". Enjoy your art and thanks for helping me "break the rules".
Welcome to my blog!
I love having a blog - it's a great way to share recent sessions and share a bit more of my personality!
If you are looking for your "Sneak-Peek" and don't see it right away, scroll down the page. It may be because I have posted another "Sneak-Peek" already.

Meet Emily - Borah High's Senior Spokesmodel
Meet Emily - or as I affectionately call her, "Ems". She is my loved niece as well as my Borah High Senior Spokesmodel for 2009. Isn't she beautiful??? She is a sweet girl who is an incredibly talented artist and wonderful friend to many :). Emily came with Aleysha and I (see previous post) on our "frazzled" tour. We had so much fun! I even got a shot of Ems and Aleysha together. Such fun to photograph such great gals!!!
Aww, Ems. I remember the excitement when you were born! I remember all of your cute belly-gut laughter you had in that little body of yours when you were only 2!!! You still have the same laugh :). I hope you enjoy your Sneak-Peek, Love. Thanks for helping me "break the rules".

Meet Aleysha - Columbia High's Senior Spokesmodel!
What fun I had with Aleysha. I mentioned a "tardiness" in one of my previous posts. Yikes! I was tardy again!!! It was not my fault...I'm serious! I was late, though. And - about 2 miles out, I realized I left my reflector at home. Then, after I'd met Aleysha at a neutral location, I realized I left my camera battery in the charger at home. Then, on our way back, I realized that I had my other camera with the same battery. So - finally, we made it to the original destination!!! Aleysha was such a trooper in putting up with my frazzledness (is that a word???). We had a total blast with another Spokesmodel - gal from Borah - I'll post about her later this week. We went to a barn to take some rad photographs (does "rad" date me?) and I was NOT disappointed. Since Aleysha is a dancer, she really knew how to pose!
Fantastic job, Aleysha. Thanks for helping me "break the rules"...

I've known this wonderful gal since she was in elementary school! She is a talented musician and has a great future ahead of her. I photographed her on the afternoon of her prom, wearing her prom dress. Thanks, MIss "J", for letting me spend that afternoon with you!
Here's your Sneak-Peek and thanks for "breaking the rules".

Little Miss "L" Sneak-Peek!
Oh, My! It has been awhile since I've had the wonderful privilege of photographing a 6-7 month old. They are soooo much fun. I had such a blast with Miss "L" and her mom. Mom's style of decor was right up my alley, so I was having a heyday in their house! See, People? This is why I LOVE photographing on-location. Don't get me wrong - studio is great for newborns and maternity, but you cannot tell me that utilizing this woman's home was not rewarding :). Anyway - I had a TOTAL blast and I can't wait to show them all the photos.
Thanks, "S", for letting me be a part of your day last week. Your baby is a doll. Consider yourselves loved...

Some May Wonder Why I am a Photographer...
I have found a post that explains it perfectly. Enjoy.
9 Reasons I'm a Photographer
And - I must add a 10th reason.
When I began this business, it was my goal to bless others as much as I am blessed using my talent. I can say that I have had the priviledge of hearing direct blessings because of what moments I capture with my camera.
To all of clients and friends - thanks for blessing me :).

Mr. "C"s Sneak-Peek...
Hey - I had a "Mr. C" for one of my classes at Meridian ... oops. I digress.
I had the wonderful opportunity of photographing this strapping young gentleman from Eagle High on Monday. After being frazzled from a time mix-up, we decided to embrace the tardiness and drive up to Tablerock for this photo. I couldn't have envisioned it any more beautiful than how it turned out. I know, Momma "L", it doesn't show your handsome son's face, but it really does reflect his faith - and that's what I was after.
Here ya go, "C"! Enjoy your Sneak-Peek and thanks for helping me "break the rules" of portraiture.
