Happy Thanksgiving...I'm on a Break :)

I'm happy to say that I am finally slowing down a bit. I am ready to spend some time with my family, so I will not be available during this week of Thanksgiving. To tide you over until I return, here's an awesome card that I love!!! When I was a music teacher, I wanted to teach the song to my kids, but some parts of it might be considered non-Teacher-friendly :) - don't worry, it's not too offensive. Enjoy!

"H" Family Sneak-Peek

This cute little family has just built a house one of the great North-End neighborhoods. It is such a cute Pottery-Barn style house. It has beautiful moulding, a wonderful layout and the fantastic charm of a home built in that era. I had such a great time exploring light in this beautiful home! I loved all of the wonderful touches Mom put into the details - just beautiful!

As beautiful as the house was, it paled in comparison to the two little girls! With bright blond hair, the soon-to-be-three-year-old, "M" was happy to show me around, introducing me to her princess book and her favorite stuffed animals. The three-month-old was just as happy as can be. She entertained me with her joyous smiles and easy-going personality!

"F" Family Newborn Sneak-Peek

I did "J"'s maternity session awhile back - I love it when clients come to me for maternity and newborn sessions. It really allows me to get to know them well. It's so fun to see the excitement of a new mom and dad and the joy they have when they bring that baby in to see me. I am so blessed to be able to witness these joys!!!

I actually know "J" because she is also my hairstylist!!! She is fantastic! She works at Techniques downtown - give her a call - but not for another 5 weeks :). She needs to enjoy her first few weeks with her new baby girl!

I had so much fun with these two...Baby "L" - you sure are going to be loved by these two! Enjoy your Sneak-Peek and Consider Yourselves Loved....

This is the second time I've taken Jen out for a photoshoot. She is my Senior Spokesmodel for Middleton High and has such amazing blue eyes! I love to see what I get out of the camera from her. Here's a link to her previous Sneak-Peek.

Meet Holly & Rob

This is Holly and her husband Rob. And, of course, their two dog-kids, Molly & Grace :). Holly is one of the most amazing women I know. After a year of marriage, she was told she had Ovarian Cancer. She has been fighting it for three years and she insists that she would never take back a single day. She says that it has been what has drawn her close to the Lord. She says that she has never felt closer to God then when she began fighting this disease. It is He whom she has drawn her strength from. It is He who has continued to show his faithfulness to her. It is He who has given her hope in a situation that seems hopeless.

It was a complete honor, Holly and Rob, to photograph you during this time in your journey. We are praying for you every day! You are a beautiful couple ~ Consider Yourselves Loved...

It's Really Amazing...Being a Mom...

I love being a mom. I swore I'd never be the mom who was goo-goo over her child, but when you actually hold that baby for the first time, there's nothing you can do to stop your goo-gooness. Daily, I am remind of how blessed I am to have such a wonderful family. I took Julius out for some photographs a couple of months ago and just let my son play. It was great fun...here are some snaps from that evening.









One cute thing my son does:

When we say, "Oh, is the baby tired?" He blinks his eyes really tight to make it look like he is falling asleep. Then he cracks up. I love this little comedian!

"S" Family Sneak-Peek

This lovely gal has been a good friend of mine for about 10 years now - she stood in my line when I got married and I stood in hers :). And - by the way - she is an AMAZING massage therapist! - email me for her information!!!

Now, we both have sons that completely ADORE eachother. It is so fun to watch them run around together. I've been photographing their son, "C" since he was just a newborn! It's wonderful to watch a child grow through my photography!
