The Lotus Tree Sneak-Peek!

Laurie Appel, a local Occupational Therapist who has been working with our son, Julius, is opening a clinic in Bown Crossing called "The Lotus Tree". This wonderful woman loves children...it was apparent the first time she came over to work with Julius. I call her the "Pied-Piper" of kids :).

At one of our appointments, we were discussing photography and her new clinic. She mentioned that she was hoping to have photographs of children playing displayed at her new space. I asked her if she would let me display my photographs and she was thrilled! We had four mini-sessions last Wednesday with some local kiddos and I had such a fun time. These sweetie-pies were full of joy - thank you, Dear Parents, for raising such beautiful, kind, respectful children. I hope you all enjoy your Sneak-Peek!

Miss K's Second Sneak-Peek!

Miss K and I had to cut our first session short - no problem with me, since I love to photograph her! I am just as excited about these photographs as I was about our first ones. Not only that, but I got to use my $15 Craigslist Chair again :).

Thanks, Miss K! I had a blast again :) - enjoy your second Sneak-Peek.

Arnold Wedding Sneak-Peek!

Can I just say that you are such a FUN COUPLE??? Tiffany Hix and I had such a blast photographing your beautiful day :). It started out sooo rainy and I thought for sure we would have to move our outdoor photoshoot inside, but guess what??? There was about a 2 1/2 hour window of pure delight in the weather and it happened to be at the exact time we were to begin taking photographs. What a huge blessing!

Let me just tell you, Blog-Stalkers, these people know how to DANCE! Tiffany and I even got out on the dance floor with them a couple of times :). I came home after this 9-hour wedding exhausted, but excited, knowing full-well that it was a day well spent!

Thanks, P & C, for the WONDERFUL time on Saturday. Love you guys!

Miss K. - Here's Your Sneak-Peek!

Oh, this was such a fun session!!! When B and her mom came to me and told me that she wanted to do a shoot in a similar dress as Marilyn Monroe has been photographed in, I squealed! I was so excited and after proofing just a few shots from yesterday's session, my squeal was not in vain :). These are so beautiful - B is a beautiful girl and she has her model looks down! We had such a blast. I told her that I wanted her to go in the water. I thought she would think I was a complete nut, but instead, she enthusiastically said, "YES!" Mom was right along with us when we told her the idea! WHAT A BLAST!!! B & B, I had so much fun with you two yesterday. Thanks for the great time and enjoy your sneak-peek!!!

I Found Out Who Hacked Into My Computer...

Don't look at what time it is. Okay, you can look, but don't judge :). I know...it's far too late for me to be writing in my blog, especially the night before church, but in my defense, I am not feeling up to par and I haven't been able to sleep since 2:00. I did go to bed at 8:00 p.m., though, so I have been getting my rest!

Okay, okay. On to my hacker. So, the other day I was sitting here at the computer with the most beautiful child in the world (my son) and he was trying like mad to get onto my computer keyboard. We have another wireless keyboard that Lumuli (hubby) uses for his laptop. Well, it was in a completely different room than my hubby, so I thought I would let Julius enjoy the keyboard. He was so stinkin' cute, I had to go downstairs to tell Lumuli to come up and see his darling son. I went into the room where Lumuli was studying and he was looking all panicked. He was like, "Oh Honey! Someone is hacking in to my computer. Look at it!" (the screen and contents were jumping around like crazy). "Babe," I said, "you have to come upstairs". He didn't understand what was so important about him coming upstairs when his computer was going to crash any minute.
Hubby came upstairs to find Julius, the Hacker, on the keyboard.

Aha! So it was Julius who went on to my computer and made all my site data disappear. My kid is BRILLIANT!
